Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, dry mustard, paprika, cayenne, seafood seasoning, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Beat together on low speed until creamy and smooth.
Fold in the shallots, parmesan cheese, and crab meat until well combined.
Scoop the mixture into a lightly-greased baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top. Broil for an extra 1-2 minutes for a browner, crispy top. Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or pita chips.
